For Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, you can expect mostly clear skies with temperatures warming up during the day but dipping significantly at night. It’s a perfect weekend to plan outdoor activities, just keep a jacket handy for the evening breeze. In Phoenix, temperatures soar, making it ideal for poolside activities, while coastal cities like San Diego offer mild weather perfect for a beach day.
Hope your weekend is going well. In Arizona, Phoenix is enjoying clear skies. Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego, remains largely unaffected by severe weather, with mild drizzle at most, creating an overall calm atmosphere.
Tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City, temperatures start at 37 degrees at 7 AM. Expect sunny conditions with a light southeast wind around 6 miles per hour. By 9 AM, temperatures rise to 39 degrees under clear skies, continuing to climb to 46 degrees at 11 AM as sunshine prevails.
Tomorrow in the Southwest, we’re looking at some impressive high temperatures.
In the southern coast, Los Angeles will reach a comfortable 77 degrees. Further south, San Diego is set for a high of 79 degrees. Over in the desert, Las Vegas is forecasted to hit 79 degrees as well, marking a nice warm day for the city.
Heading inland, Bakersfield can expect a warmer high of 82 degrees, while Fresno will also see pleasant conditions with a high of 81 degrees.
In the eastern parts of the region, Phoenix is set to have an afternoon high of 82 degrees, indicating temperatures are running slightly above average.
In contrast, Ely will have a cooler high of 63 degrees, and Flagstaff will experience even chillier conditions at 57 degrees.
On the Southwest futurecast, expect sunny skies and warmer conditions across much of the desert region, ideal for outdoor activities. Coastal regions and parts of Northern California can anticipate intermittent rain starting late Saturday night, with rain showers intensifying heading into Sunday. The San Bernardino Valley will likely experience heavier rainfall, leading to potentially hazardous driving conditions in the mountain areas. Watch for localized flooding risks. Farther east, a drier pattern prevails, offering clear skies and pleasant temperatures through the weekend.
The UV index in Salt Lake City will be moderately high at 6 for both Saturday and Sunday, indicating a burn time of about 23 minutes in direct sunlight.
