The radar for the Southwest is lighting up with pockets of weather activity. In California, showers are making their way inland from the Pacific, providing some relief to drought-stricken areas along the central coast. San Francisco is seeing rain, as well as the central valleys stretching toward Fresno. This storm system is bringing snow to higher elevations, particularly in the Sierra Nevadas. In Flagstaff, there’s a chance for light snow showers as cooler air filters in. In contrast, cities such as Las Vegas and Phoenix are enjoying dry conditions with clear skies, providing a pleasant break from any precipitation. Southern areas near San Diego and Los Angeles experience mild weather, with just a touch of drizzle in the Southland region.
“Tomorrow morning in Phoenix kicks off with a clear start at 67 degrees around 7 AM. As the morning progresses, expect sunny skies with the temperature easing to 66 degrees by 9 AM and warming up to 74 degrees by 11 AM. Winds are gentle from the east-southeast at about 4 to 6 miles per hour.”
High temperatures for tomorrow in the Southwest are shaping up to be quite warm, with several cities experiencing above-average readings. Further west, Los Angeles will enjoy a high of 64 degrees, while the inland region of Fresno warms up to 76 degrees. Bakersfield peaks at 78 degrees, also reflecting a warmer pattern. Ely, Nevada, is forecasted for 67 degrees, and Cedar City will reach 71 degrees.
“A Pacific system brings significant moisture to Northern California on Thursday, with persistent rain likely across the valleys and coastal regions. Southern California, including the San Bernardino Valley, faces scattered showers and possibly intense downpours, creating hazardous driving conditions especially in mountain areas. Keep an eye on evolving weather patterns and prepare for potential rainfall impacts.”
